March Newsletter

Come together with NCJW advocates from across California to meet with lawmakers and make change!
On May 19-20, 2020, we will head up to Sacramento to meet with our state senators and assembly members to share our work and collaborate on legislation impacting economic justice and equity for low-income women in California. Over the course of two days, we will learn about critical issues including poverty, healthcare access, reproductive justice, workplace equity and more.
Stipends are available for affiliated advocates to cover full or partial costs including airfare, hotel stay, and registration. Click the button below to register. Have questions or need more information? Please email our Advocacy Program Manager, Nabila Sosa.

Peer Educators Nayely, Lauren, and Serenity (left to right) were featured in Heroine Magazine’s newest edition. The spread, "IDENTITY, BODY DIVERSITY AND OWNERSHIP: LOS ANGELES ACTIVISTS," gave them a space to talk about consent education and how Change the Talk has impacted their lives.
