ATP is Coming Back in Fall 2022

We are excited to announce our new focus and schedule!

This fall, for the first time, we will be offering two simultaneous training series: Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Stay tuned for dates and times.

This ATP cycle will be centered on learning all about Guaranteed Income. So, if you are a brand-new advocate, passionate about Guaranteed Income, or are a past or present GI recipient, this training is for you!

Meet Our New Team Members

Tevel Pele, Guaranteed Income Program Coordinator,  is a recent graduate from UC Berkeley. During her time at Berkeley, she studied American Studies and Public Policy, with a focus on Poetry and Social Movements in the United States.

While at Berkeley, she discovered her passion for economic and social justice and is extremely excited to work with NCJW | LA towards pursuing both economic and social justice. Tevel loves to read romance novels and poetry in her free time and hang out with her two cats.

Maricruz Arzate, Critical Response Program Manager,  studied at the University of California, Irvine, and majored in Psychology and Social Behavior. She chose the path of Social Ecology because of her interest in interdisciplinary approaches to social problems including social inequality.

She believes that we all have a collective duty to help one another and is motivated to improve individual lives within the community to create a positive difference.
