1. Attend the Justice On Trial Film Festival (JOTFF)
This action comes from A New Way of Life Reentry Project
Join JOTFF on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Loyola Marymount University as they showcase the challenges of people caught up in the judicial system. They know only too well the pain and injustice—the jail house beatings, the solitary confinement, the stop-and-frisk humiliations, the selective prosecutions with bad plea bargains, and the unreasonably long sentences that they suffer

2. Take Action! Speak out against the gag rule and protect our reproductive health care
This action comes from NCJW, Inc.
On August 19, Planned Parenthood — which serves 40% of the 4 million patients who rely on Title X — was forced from the program rather than comply with the Trump administration’s domestic gag rule. The dismantling of Title X threatens the health of 4 million patients particularly the low-income people, people of color, young people, immigrants, and LGBTQ individuals who largely rely on the program. Unite together to demand inclusion to your Senator.
3. Urge Congress to protect immigrant children and families.
This Action comes from MomsRising
Every working and breastfeeding mother should be able to experience that feeling of anticipation as they wrap up a hard day’s work and return to their loved ones. No one should carry the uncertainty of not knowing when they’ll see their children again. We know that separating and incarcerating children and families causes tragic, long-term consequences to the health and well-being of children and their families. In spite of that knowledge, the Trump administration continues to push policies that do just that.
4. Demand that Greyhound comply with its code of ethics!
This action comes from the ACLU
Greyhound has been letting Border Patrol board its buses to question and arrest passengers without a warrant or any suspicion of wrongdoing. The company is throwing its loyal customers under the bus.
5. Sign the Petition to Stop the Expansion of the Mesa Verde Detention Center in Bakersfield CA
This action comes from Detention Watch Network
Community members throughout Kern County and across the state are united against incarceration and detention, join organizers in demanding no expansion of any form of the Mesa Verde Detention Center in Bakersfield.
