Now in its sixth year, this culturally based arts education program is currently provided annually to approximately 80 third grade students. Over a period of 14 weeks, NCJW/LA volunteer Art Educators help children explore cultural traditions through art, music, cultural artifacts, slides, discussion and related hands-on art activities. Art Bridges Culture (ABC) encourages students to celebrate the rich diversity and traditions of the people of Los Angeles through interactive lessons and hands-on cultural art projects from around the world.

ABC students are often heard sharing and comparing their family traditions and stories with peers on the playground using their newly learned cultural vocabulary.
